Product Overview

NuPrime Roof Primer is a cross-linking acrylic primer specially engineered for tile and concrete roofs. Its micro-fine particles penetrate deeply into porous and powdery surfaces, locking in and strengthening the substrate.

The wet-adhesion-promoting formula enhances the bond between the roof and NuTech top coatings, helping to ensure long-lasting performance and adhesion.

Ideal for both new installations and weathered tile or concrete roofs.

APPLICATION & USAGE

Coverage Rate

Approximately 0.62 gal per 100 sq ft (160 sq ft per gallon)

Application

Apply one coat over clean roof at a rate of 200 sq. ft. per gallon

NOTES

  1. The surface should be cleaned to remove all contaminants, dirt, and any loose coating.
  2. Reinforce and seal any weak areas.
  3. Apply one coat of NXT NuPrime over clean, reinforced roof at a rate of 160 square feet per gallon.
  4. NXT NuPrime must be topcoated within 24 hours of application.

Mixing & Storage

No thinning or reducing is necessary.

Product may separate over time, so mix thoroughly with a power mixer or paint stick before use.

Carefully reseal the container after every use.
